This story inspired me to look for a long lost brother/sister. My father got married in 1977 in a small baadiyo village In Kililka shanaad to a girl when they went to fight. After 3 a months or saw, the girl was pregnant and my father was deployed to Godey then got wounded and flown back to Muqdisho. Somali Soldiers could not go back so it took a while before he was able to recover and went over there to look for his wife. The Whole family ran away from where he knew and he lost them. All he knew was she was reer cabdulle, reer amaandin. Over 1000 girls fall under that category and he come back after 2 months of going from city to City. We do not know to this day, if the baby was a girl/boy was born or died. So many civilians got killed.
Do you guys think I should use the internet, radios, TVs to find them? I am sure the mother must have known my dad's name and that would help trace them?
I am looking for my long lost brother/Sister

He knows her names upto this time he didn't know the extended family. People could not connect to the 3 names so well. He was supposed to know more abtiris or maybe cousins names etc. He married the girl in a small town during war. Somalis used to get married to girls at that time through masaafo without consulting the family etc. He only knows her 3 names and a bigger family clan's name.

so it was a secret marriage or run-to-gether marriage. that must brought disaster on that girl.. what could she possibly have said to her people when the father disappeared. he knows they might have killed her.
