Out of the original clan elders representing jubbaland who were delegates participating in the elections and constitution ratification in Xamar only 2 elders do not support Ahmed Madoobe as president and both of those elders are in Xamar with Hassan Sheikh( IGAD has a list of the original elders and ticked them off in Kismaayo). All the elders told IGAD they support the new maamul and it is they who overlooked the whole process, it was wholly a Somali process with even the funds for the conference collected from Jubbaland traders. The IGAD fact finding mission will clearly see the legitimacy of Ahmed Madoobes Government, ALi Ameriko is representing Hassan Sheikh in the IGAD delegation so he is sitting there seeing first hand the aggression his government is posing towards a transparent and legal process.
