Last year while in Somalia I was texting the local people...And I came to find out that they got their own abbreviation of everyday somali words..
For instance:

Alxamdulilah-Alx.

Saaxiib-sxb

Laakinse-lks

Now lets invent more...

I would rather call them than text them in Somali. The words are too long to be abbreviated sometimes. Some are easy like the ones u mentioned. I used to wonder what "wxn" meant, and I was surprised when I was told it stands for "waxaan" lol
