Future readers, welcome to Snet and keep this advise in mind before you put on your qabiil suit.
First and formost, you're not an ambassador for your qabiil. No one sent you to defend or "rep" your qabiil. No one pays you to post the irrational, emotionally driven vile trash you post on here. You simply get nothing in reward for the disparaging remarks you post every day. You do not own a land as all lands belong to allah. You do not own any part of Somalia because every inch of Somalia belongs to any Somali person irrespective of qabiil and place of birth. You own what you as an individual have acquired and you may insult, kill and die to make sure that which is your personal property doesn't leave your possession. Other than, the only other land you own is the little piece of land that you'll be placed in when your time comes to a stop and don't worry because everyone is guaranteed of that bit, reserved and kept just for them. But the idea that you own a vast land that stretches 100s of KMs is nothing short of repugnant and I think if you sincerely believe that, you should seek professional help because you are not normal. Every region of Somalia is settled by dozens of different tribes and that's an indubitable fact.
You're own your own person, think and behave like the individual you're. Do not carry the burden of the tribe. Don't be a fool and don't buy the we we we we. If some warlord that hails from your tribe is raising hell for some innocent folks back home, don't support him because you share a clan with him. When he's criticized for doing what he's doing, don't defend him because anyone who kills any person let alone a muslim person deserves much more than a mere criticism. On the contrary, judge the individual as an individual. If there's a a member or even a politician with whom you do not agree for whatever reason, you don't agree that person period! His family and his tribe have done nothing that warrants a nonstop insults sent their way. Don't collect endless points of dambi that you'll be accounted for when you die.
Lastly, you're a muslim and no matter what, your religion should come first. If it comes to down to either throwing a few lines of insults to Clan X's direction or keeping silence because by doing the former you get nothing but dambi, then take the latter. You'll answer to everything you say and do and all are recorded. When you die and you're placed in your true home, and your left all alone; you won't be asked what tribe you're. Yaad tahay iyo yaad ka tahay laguma waydin doono. For those who insult you, don't reciprocate their ignorance.
At the end of the day, you're all brothers and you're the same people. You might not believe or even like sound of this but we're all one and the same people. The sooner everyone realizes this the better for every single one of us. Don't answer and be a slave to some outdated mythologies; break the fetters and be free. Leave the qabiil talks to the losers, move on with your lives and cultivate your dreams. Make your family and yourselves happy.
