Axmed samatar is visiting Somaliland next month after 19 years. No i dont think he wants to run for office in SL and i think that is very impossible. Maybe VP, but for now its good that the professor remains away from Politics. The man has great ideas and knows allot about state building and good governance. He really wanted to help the walanweyns.He deeply cares about the walanweyns he visited dadaab xamar and even tried to be an MP but he saw how ineffective that parliament is , so he wants to help using other methods.
