For a long time since the days of pictures of dead Somalis whose organs were stolen, I've been wondering about the same, until several months ago when I discovered the reason. Apparently, the ease of opening and operating a business in South Africa is among the top countries. This is the site where I got the answer:

Do you think Somalians are any better? The South Africans, Somalians, and South Sudanese suffer from the same ailment: that of ingratitude and self-entitlement. Citizens of these countries tend to feel that "other people" have come to steal from them. Many south Africans (blacks) feel entitled to jobs and don't understand why people from other countries are coming to steal after all the trouble they went through during Apartheid, forgetting that African countries sacrificed a lot to fight Apartheid.

In South Sudan, foreigners are killed like flies and foreign business are treated like a bother. Did you know that Somalis were banned from entering SS? It brought a big row between .KE and .SS because a number of Kenyan Somalis were truck drivers entering South Sudan. The south Sudanese are very lazy - they can't till their land but would rather roam around with their cattle. If you go to a hotel, they behave as if it is a favour they're doing you. After all, they fought in the war.

What about Somalians? How many times have we seen people on this forum saying that if a woman gets married to a foreigner that, that man should not be allowed entry (not even citizenship) to Somalia? The same person is currently living in a western country somewhere else. If Somalia is presently in shambles, what do you think would be the reaction if Somali had something to boast about? Like being Africa's biggest economy?

The Somalis that get attacked are mostly the ones who setup shop in the townships and ghettos where the blacks are basically xoolo. The ones who operate in th3 cities are safer and still stack good paper. Most of the risk takers who venture into the townships are young men who just entered the country looking to make it quick

When you go to South Africa, you will be shocked at the damage done to the blacks over the course of centuries of white rule.
