It's strange like saying goodbye to old friends and knowing that you'll never see them again
Then there's the smell of rain but is it just where I live or does it smell like fertilizer to you guys as well?

Bloody hell! I had such feeling just few days ago. I recently downloaded some of the e-books of Ernest Hemingway and finished reading two of his epic books, For whom the bell tolls & The old man and the sea and both of them ended in a way that made me really sad & I was asking myself why would he leave the characters in such ways (Robert Jordan & Maria's plans to go to Madrid and then the US after he blows the bridge and the war ends wasn't fruitful in For whom the bell tolls, and the struggle the old man goes through his last trip on the ocean with that big fish and how sharks will take it from him in the end and he returns empty-handed after days in the sea in The old man and the sea).
It was the same thing with one of my all time favorite writers, Charles Dickens. The three books I read so far, Oliver Twist (Yeah, that's the story behind my nick, Twist), Great expectations & Bleak House, ended in not so good ways, at least not how I expected, especially Great Expectations & Bleak House.
One all time favorite who hardly disappoints me in how his stories end is Stephen King.

Twist male authors tend to have a preference for sad endings that's why I avoid them. I prefer my endings neat and happy. Horta was this a Stephen King novel - a girl with bring orange hair, there was some poetry and the characters got killed off in a rhyme, I can remember the one on a wall and it got thinner and thinner until he got cut up? Creepy book.
Advo the only WTC song I know is gavel pit and ever since I figured out what it means I can't enjoy it. Still Method Man deserves an appreciation thread - my nigga don't front

I found this with the three you mentioned
Don't know who's who but the first one sounds like a strange mix of Nas and Mystikal, the second one is not too bad (still not half as good as Method Man) but the third one who I think is Ghost (there was a song he had in the past couple of years) that guy is a squeaky and annoying, high pitched version of Q-Tip

u r sad because u read sad alcoholic friendly stories. U don't like the misery of that 'nostalgic sadness' to end. U want to indulge in woe is me, woe is me forever.

No I don't like depressing books that is much too draining but I also wouldn't read about which celebrity recently came out of the closet and discovered they were HIV+
