Put yourselves in Turtle's shoes

Post by Colonel »

President Turtle has no say in what happens in Puntland and Somaliland, now he's about to lose a third large region - Jubbaland.

If The Good People of Jubbaland win this political conflict it would pave the way for other entities to follow our way, such as the Dothrakis of Galmudug or the community of Bay & Bakool.

Jubbaland is the decider of Somalia's future. If Turtleman comes out on top he'll be the undisputed President of Somalia (minus the northern regions) however if he is defeated then Culusow will be restricted to the control of Banadir, the Shabelles and perhaps Hiiraan.

If I was Turtleman, I too would do anythink to break the back of Jubbaland. Alas, Ibn Jeberti is too politically savy to be defeated by the Barbarian Hordes.

colonel do you support Eaglehawkism in terms of jubaland

I have been saying for a while that somalia and Jubaland are irreconcilable

colonel what have dignified people of jubaland benefited from somalia jubaland union in 1920?

no jubalander has ever become president or prime minister nor are our regions build, the people of jubaland were the greatest tax contributed yet the central government never allocated resources for infrastructure.

colonel somalia and Jubaland are separated by great river....thank god

i think that what is happening with the jubbaland fiasco shows that the somali republic really should be broken up into 4 or 5 countries as the central govt is not able to do what any central govt does which is rule the whole country however i understand why jubbaland officials and other folks are against the federal govt since it is a one clan admin based in the one clan "capital"

it would be best that an inclusive central govt where every clan/group has a fair share inside the fed govt has strong powers alongside strong sub units in a balanced federalism (maybe 60:40 in favor to the sub units) and that the capital is an inclusive city for all the nation's people

^ MSB was born in the Ogaden region.

Eaglehawk dropping heavy knowledge :wow:
Having said that Jubbaland is part and parcel of Somalia, we don't want to become Somalidiid and still ask for recognition in 20 years time. That model is flawed.

Let's hope Somalia has a bright future, surely this disastrous period can not last much longer?

Reality check for my Ras Kibaki friends

1. There is no such thing as "Jubbaland". Its still a distant jeberti dream.
2. There are currently ,if im not mistaken 7 presidents in Kismayo, all claiming to be true leaders of Jubooyinka.
3. KDF control the seaport and the airport. They also manage the small amount of taxes from those two places.
4. Ras Kamboni milita allied to KDF controls only 25 % of Kismayo.
5. 75 % of Kismayo is in the hands of various clan militas. ( Shiiqaal, Gaaljecel and Cawrmale).
6. Reer Kismaayo currently are living under embarrasing Kenyan colonization, because of Ras Kibakis
and they will stay that way until they bow down to Villa Somalia´s order.
