That's a despicable statement. Jareerweyn live & farm all throughout the Jowhar region & they have historically coexisted peacefully with others. Unfortunately, clan tensions have flared up between them & Mohamed Muse & both clans have been involved in equally gruesome acts of savagery including the burning of villages & killings of innocent people.

Most region that are respected jareeris are in middle shabeele. They always had their own militia for a long time, they offer every time a great number of soldiers to the local army. The local tvs are showing their culture and dance like in mahadaay as part of the society.
