That elusive mix of confidence and charm that almost or completely leaves you start-struck? You listen more intently when they speak and laugh more heartily at their jokes. You know they are having this effect on you and you know you can't fight it (tried and failed) so you just enjoy the high they're creating.

It's just someone I met and I could see they were having the same effect on everyone else in the room. It's like that every time I see them - they have this thing that draws people to them and makes people want to be around them and listen to them. I've always heard about people being described as charming but it's unnerving experiencing it firsthand. I feel played, like I didn't have a choice in the matter, I had to like them.
