As a sidenote: I could fill a small book with the fallacies, mistakes in fiqh, lies (whether intentional or unintentional) of this individual but I honestly have neither the time or motivation to invest on him at the present time. He seems unequivocally driven by an inner desire to fuse cultural standards (which often may be in conflict with core tenets of traditional Islam) into Islam more so than by straight-forward, unbiased propagation of the deen. In brief, I could summarize my view of his manhaj in the following statement - His responsibility is to bring Islam to Americans; not to bring a diluted and culturally Americanized form of Islam to the world (i.e. Malaysia, etc.).
