Maybe you have not been to Xamar in a while but Wadajir formely known as Medina with Dharkanley are on the end of the city and beyond them you leave the Borders of the City. The Jazeera that article you posted is referring to the actual Jaziira because there is no land as big as 73 acres that is empty any where near 3 kilometers south of Wadajir. Just by the Palm tress in the renderings and how they are marketing the project is proof their main Target is the Jaziira beach and its surroundings and as i mentioned earlier all that land is owned by people. Maybe there is something we dont know but 73c acres is not a joke Obviously am thrilled about such projects but than we have had alot of people rip off poor families from the west by promising them something and taking their money away and so obviously i have some concerns. Building a whole neighbourhood from scartch in a country just exiting a Civil War is no easy task. Last but not least i actually expect one day Afgooye and Balcad to also end up just as suburbs of Xamar if this growth keeps going.

It´s 73 hectares not acres
Ok, whatever im sure Banaadir municipality and this real estate company had agreed on the land prices. Tarzan inuu tuug yahay uma maleynaayi. And they are ready to pay taxes as they said.

I know that Wadajir, Kaaraan, Dayniile and Hurwaa are the border districts and from now on the building projects must concentrate on those four districts so that the city would grow. By the way Mogadishu and Afgooye is already linked, waxaa dhiman kiliya the farms that come after carbiska.

Yh it should be located there but the map is wrong on Wadajir district border. There should be more land for Wadajir beacause the map put the line where the apartments end.
