.....now since i see this great forum has been invaded by Somalis. I think its good just to educate you my fellow Kenyans on how the Somalis are,as a person who has been in Mogadishu and interacted with them also for many years. now Kenyans think the Somali are one homogeneous nation. the truth however is that there are many other tribes in somalia apart from the Somali. they include the minorities like the bantu,bajuni, benadir and madhiban who are the real natives of somalia. the Somali are a very proud and boisterous people. they are also fierce, unafraid and very savagery and barbaric. this can be seen in how they have exterminated the other minorities in the country like the bantu and madhiban. well somalis have diffrent tribes, not like our tribes shere in kenya since the somali are more of clans. to a Somali the clan is the single most important unit of life socially and pollitically. to a somali a clan is important than religion, they literally worship there clans. they will never marry or bed another somali. they consider it a curse . they accuse other clans of being primitive but to us they are all primitive its very funny. just like a beggar accusing anothe beggar of being a beggar
.there are 3 main clans in somalia and they include1. hawiye
2.isaaq
3. darood
(see map ) now each of these clans have there own characteristics and territory, the hawiye reside in central region and mogadishu. they are very barbaric and are responsible for the raping and chaos of mogadishu. there warriors are called mooryan which I think is related to our masaai moran. they hate foreigners and when there are no foreigners they butcher each other. they also marry of their girls at ages 9-10.
the other clan is darod. it is a big clan containing also numerous sub clan. they reside in north and south somalia. the ogaden are one of the clan. other somali clans accuse the darod of being cowardly and there women are reported to be promiscuous and very generous opening there legs to strangers. they are also the main pirates and love alcohol. they live in puntland and thrive in organised crime, it is common for one darod woman to be married to two men especially if they are pirate and have money.
the third clan is called the issaq. they are the ones with a country called somaliland. they are the most that love miraa and trade in it. 80% of somaliland economy comes from miraa. the isaaq are very afraid of other Somali clans, there a little bit more civilized at least they have made a stable region and are well educated in somali standards. other clans envy them and cant wait to butcher them once again.
with that said,the majority of Kenya Somali are darod ogaden,isaaq like johnie and few hawiyes. its easy to rule over somali just pitting them against each other. Somalis hate each other very much and that's how we can sub due them. thank you
