Beesha Hawiye Come In

Post by Murax »

I know clan names are not allowed on the general politics section but this isn't a clan bashing thread I just have a question I was curious about.

Hawiye what are Your views on Federalism? Do You prefer Federal or Central rule? I was just wondering if its a stereotype that only Daroods are Pro Federalism.

Iam pro-Centralism.
This Clan Federalism is bad for the nation. We dont need it. We are small nation with 10million citizens. All we need is a strong centralized govt :som:

Waa run Akhii. Hawiye and Dir Plus Mareexaan do not support Federalism. They see it as away to break up the Country into Semi-autonomous states that Opposses the federal Gov't. Its another Qabil system with a different name. That is why its not going to come for voting in the House because it will defeated before it is debated on. It will definately not succeed because Only Majeerteen and Ogaadeen Supports it.

only kablalax rats support federalism aka the divisive system of governance despite somalia being a single ethnic nation like djibouti and somaliland

somalia is doomed when its sub units like punaniland act as a country with their own symbols (flag etc), have way more power than their parent (fed govt) and views somalia as a international organisation e.g. eu

Federalism.

However, not with that retarded 2 gobol requirement. It won't stay on as much as some would want it too. There are constitutional reviews taking place and it will be scrapped.

Soon enough, Hiiraan State will be split into two gobols and will be created. Galgaduud and southern Mudug will merge to form as one (ASWJ has went to Cadado this week to talk about forming an administration and Galmudug President has went to Xamar recently to talk about forming a central administration).

It will be soon enough that the two Lower Shabelle and Middle Shabelle will merge.

Federalism is good.

No to federalism. I want south Somalia ( from Gaalkacyo to Kenyan border ) to be an own country. Punaniland, Gedo and SL can fuck off!
If that doesn´t happen then centralism for sure. Mogadishu will be the capital until Youmul Qiyaamah.

Federalism is the only system of governance that can guard the realm of men from the perils of mooryaans of South-central Somalia.

Lol@Hiiraan being split, rest assured everyone shall do the same. And spare the nonsense of not being split during kacaanka, we are in 2013. :som:

I don`t see how a central system can work.
Somalia should be a loose federation of autonomous states.

if they try and pull that shit with Hiiraan....Somalia will be f**ed.

Hiiraan will be a state on it's own at the end of the day whether you like it or not. If not through splitting, the government will allow a minimum of single gobols to form federal states after the constitution is reviewed. It's a provisional constitution. There are more than enough votes to change this requirement.

Dir/Barwanis will not want to join Middle Shabelle and want their own Lower Shabelle state.
Reer Khatuumo will want their own federal state so they will vote for it to be changed.
Who knows Bay and Bakool if they want to even merge.
Hawiye don't want the 2 requirement gobols.

The votes are there to change it.

Original Dervish, why are you for 2 gobol requirement? How will Khatuumo form it's federal state? Have you ever thought of that?

If anyone thinks that 2 gobol requirement nonsense will stay on, you are deluding yourselves.

federalism its self is some thing designed to bring people of different ethnicities/religious back grounds/differing languages Etc together under one nation
those attributes are unknown in Somalia as we are one people having the same religion madhab language and dialect thus the very essence of federalism is some thing that does not suit us, but when you have severely corrupted individuals operating from our capital holding high ranks than it gives the concept of Centralization a very unpromising painting thus eliciting voices that are ever more determined to the cause of federalism these people are highly alarmed by the possibility that the virtue of entire somalis will fall into the hands of few corrupted inner circle elites.
so what we wanna see is courage honesty transparency and most importantly justice being displayed by the government for all the doubts to be over-came.
i think its critically crucial to keep Sland and Putland federal states for a while(lets say 10-15 years) before being fully re incorporated to greater somalia
