In the land of the free for a few weeks now in Bossaso after some time in Berbera and Las Anod etc.



This is a small part of the city but a place where I like getting my dinner close by this cliff.

I'll tell you this is the place to invest in if your interested in import/export - business. It's the hub for Somaliland and as far down to Beledweyne.

UAE is a dessert. Every single city/town on the Somali coast exhibits the same environment as Bossaso. What's your point . Its not my problem that in just 15 years Bosasso as become the No.1 city in Somalia.

Bosaso has long been an important settlement. In antiquity, it was known as Mosylon and was a commercial hub.

Actually, the whole Somali seaboard had a string of city-states where the local Berbers (ancestral Somali) used to trade with the ancient Greeks, Persians, Chinese, etc.




This is all documented in the ancient classic Periplus of the Erythraean Sea.

Idoors why so mad ? Bossaso is a free town unlike other towns in North western Somalia, no need to hate development idoors helped (create because as you know SL relies on Bossaso.
