The irony here is that Axmed Madoobe traveled to Kenya three times to have the Kenyan AMISOM contingents to be replaced because they, KDF, tied their hands in securing the city. Remember the Cabaas Talxe militias that came all the way from Gedo and came though Alshabab strongholds, Kanboni wanted to confront them and disarm them but Kenya refused them to do so. When Barre arrived Kismaayo, Kanboni wanted him arrested, only to be intervened by the KDF. The Boon Ilka-yars somehow believe that in the absence of KDF, they can fight with Kanboni. I just laugh at this logic because hadn't it been the KDF, the Ilka-yars would have all been deported to Galguduud longtime ago.
