Angels on Bare skin

Post by Navy9 »

I am loving this cleanser and I do recommend it. I have been using Ocean Salt and Magnaminty for sometime now but I do like Angels cleanser much more. I have been using it for a week now.

Its by Lush.

Googled it - sounds delicious

I am curious to see your morning/night facial care routine. You are definitely not a dabbler

 Ramadan Mubarak sis.

BV,
I am too lazy for routines, dear. But I do like using Korres and Kiehl's products.

 Lush.

I use their hair products and also recently tried their facial moisturizer called Skin Drink. I have dry skin and it is absolutely amazing.

^ Hair products :-O For really? Is it good? I use natural shampoos and leave in conditioners and I wouldn't mind trying something new. What products do you use and how's your hair texture? I'm a 3b/c.

I only buy sandstone soap from Lush and it's AMAZING! Best.exfoliant.ever. People use it on their face :? But I just use it on my body. Leaves your skin soft, supple and fragrant! I buy 200g and get them to cut them into 4 blocks. Lasts me several months

I never tried their shampoos but I use their R&B as a leave in conditioner. My hair texture is a 3a and in the winter my hair gets soo dry. But Alhamdulilah for the last year or so I have been using their Jasmine&Henna Fluff Eaze conditioner and my hair is so much shiner and healthier. The Jasmine fregrance can be overpowering in the beginning but after you wash your hair, its gets milder and lasts longer too.

I'm going there today to get moisturizer for my face and I'll pick up a sandstone soap bar( Why in the world would you use it on your face?) :-O too inshaAllah. I'll let you know what I think. :)

Disclaimer: It's very abrasive  It's made out of sand, so you'll have to clean your tub afterwards (a quick rinse will suffice). I have extreeeeeeeeemely dry skin in the winter and this soap does the trick. I use it all year round and simply love it  The first time I used it, my skin was flushed but uber soft. If you scrub too hard, it'll hurt  I suggest you get a 100g bar and test it out. I've read reviews of people who didn't use the soap for their body cause it was so abrasive but instead used it for their feet to remove the callouses. My skin's become accustomed to it now, and sometiems I wish it was harsher lol.

I switch up my conditioners all the time so I'll check this one out. I love scents that linger in your hair too

SANDSTONE soap is absolutely AMAZING  and the smell is incredible, I'm in love :D One use and I can already tell the glow on my skin. It is seriously not as abrasive as the reviewers say it is, I actually wish it was little bit more. Thanks lillaahiya for your recommendation. This product will definitely stay with me.

btw I tried it on my face as an exfoliator. Since the one I already use is a little abrasive anyway (I use Modern Friction by Origins), I said to myself it wouldn't hurt to try sandstone on my face either. Its actually pretty good. Instant glow and I always like that/

Recently got loads of Lush products as a gift.. It smells absolutely amazing but haven't tried them.. They look a wee bit strange
I misplaced the booklet that came with the box but I do know it includes soaps, solid conditioners etc.. Do you ladies use the soaps/bars as a whole *like a normal soap* or would it be wiser if I cut the bar to smaller pieces before use?

If its eid tomorrow I might use the soaps/conditioner cawa In shaa Allah..

^ Cut the solid blocks into pieces so they last longer. For the semi-circle soaps, I don't think there's a point. They disolve quickly anyway.

Like Lillaayah said, cut them into smaller pieces. I hope you got the chance to try them and like the results sis.
