my a neighbor down the road told us to make some lasagna and chicken and in return they would make the sambuusas. We thought fine and I thought there was no way Sambuusa can be a ruined. Its sambuusa and it can only differ in size and not taste. Anyways, I picked up the sambuusas and gave them their share of lasagna and chicken and went back home to eat with the family. All I eat is sambuusa during Ramadan. Nothing else. I take a bite of the sambuusa and to my disgust, found that the ground beef has been replaced with TUNA. I was very shocked. Do people eat sambuusas with tuna? The finest and expensive mozzarella cheese and chicken was purchased and we are given tuna in a can that cost 50 cents at Wal Mart. Its not even the cost issue in all honesty. Its the thought. You don't make sambuusa with tuna. Its just wrong.
Tuna in sambuusa shouldn't even be given to animals. I feel used and betrayed.

Sambuusa with tuna is not bad at all. We prepare it sometimes and add grinded coconut. Its superb. You should try that too Abdi
