I think u are praying for a war khalid, no one is gonna fire a shot up north certainly not a unionist. What some guy said in the jungles of shabeele to motivate his fighters against alshabaab (which I found to be ok) will not make a difference. The days of war is long gone after shabaab is cleansed.

You never know the horn has always had wars its a very volatile region i am sure they are now toothless now but when they gain allot of confidence in a few years they will sharpen their knives not now in a decade or so

Why would i be bitter the day i get angry and bitter is the day , walanweyns and other creatures from the south rule my Somaliland. But thats never gonna happen i am very happy. Somaliland is stronger than ever. The walanweyns are on each other throat there is a big chance Somalia disintegrating, especially Jubbaland being more linked to Kenya than Somalia that will be the biggest conflict in the horn. A winner is good in Somalia because right now there is no winner Puntland is puntland Jubbaland is jubbaland there is no unified Somalia entity. That is good for Somalia if it had a winner, but the civil war is still not won by either side

The reality is that this "general" is not threating "somaliland" with war or an invasion. He commenting on a recent skirmish between alshabaab and his troops. The point he was making is that they will liberate alshabaab from southern Somalia AND to eventually establish a functional government in the whole republic. This is the policy of the Somalia government, there is nothing sinister or controversial about. To suggest otherwise is to be holly disingenuous and hypocritical. This a feable attempt to miss lead and to miss inform the ignorant mass and disseminate hate,fear and miss trust in order to control them.
