This poor man actually was justified in self-defense because those cacs came to his house and threatened his family yet he's doing time for manslaughter. Zimmerman on the other hand get off even though he chased Trayvon Martin.

Real talk, if you're going to live in the United States, live in the Black states or places where niggers get some respect like Georgia, Maryland or the Carolinas. Go places where Black people are treated like human beings. These places have large Black populations by percentages.

Yes Florida might have more Blacks than these states but it's the percentage that counts and I am willing to bet that Florida's black population by percentage is not a respectable figure. Maybe 10%. Of course Blacks are going to get stepped on in Florida like they do in California, Texas and NY, the big 4 states. In places where you are an extreme minority, you will be seen as dirt.

If you're black, you are better off living in Detroit or Birmingham or something. There is no reason for you to be in suburban Miami like this Trayvon fella or Burbank or some shit. You'll be seen unworthy. Go where your folks are.

Would the same verdict be reached if this were to happen in Detroit? Nope.

I don't think the two cases are relatable. The central issue at play here isn't race (in the legal sense), but law. New York doesn't have a Stand your Ground law. Had Zimmerman done this in New York, he would have surely been convicted of murder. However, since Florida does have a Stand your Ground law, while what Zimmerman did was reprehensible, the jurors could not legally convict him of murder since he is protected by Stand your Ground.

It isn't illegal to follow someone. While Zimmerman was wrong to follow the kid, he didn't break any laws doing so. When Trayvon Martin proceeded to physically assault him, that is when the case became a matter of self defense. Legally in Florida, it doesn't matter what led up to the conflict, just the outcome. If you feel your life is truly in danger, you are allowed to use deadly force. It is a stupid law, but it is the law none the less.

What happened to the kid was tragic, it really was. But George Zimmerman did not break any laws in killing the kid. If people are angry about the outcome of this case (which they rightfully should be so), they should direct their anger at the horrible law that allowed Zimmerman to walk free.

If you live in a state with Stand your Ground type laws on the books, but yourself a gun and get a concealed carry permit. It should be evident after the outcome of this case that you aren't safe. Like the saying goes, dead men tell no tales. Better judged by twelve than carried by six.
