If me or any of my siblings got in a fight at school and we got beaten up, my father would shout and apparently get mad at us.

You just admited to being an easy prey that gets slapped around.DeeqaDagan wrote:If me or any of my siblings got in a fight at school and we got beaten up, my father would shout and apparently get mad at us.
Ofcourse ur aabo would be pissed off, considering that he feeds you.

Since you are gabar/naag, ur hooyo or a female relative should have taught you how to (timo jiid/waji xagasho).

I am a very peaceful and calm person. However, I never entertained violence. But incase I lost in a fight and came home with scars and bruises ofcourse you can imagine how a parent would feel.zingii wrote:You just admited to being an easy prey that gets slapped around.DeeqaDagan wrote:If me or any of my siblings got in a fight at school and we got beaten up, my father would shout and apparently get mad at us.

Re: are all somali dads like this?
I once had a fight with an Agoon Isaaq kid, I beat him up immensely despite the kid being 2 years older than me, when a Somali elder who knew my dad stopped the fight the Isaaq kid was crying and accusing me of starting the fight, I could barely speak Somali at that time as I was young and had close to zero Somali interactions apart from family, so the elder thought I was the trouble maker even though I was just an innocent righteous boy defending himself from a trashy kid who attacked me. When my dad got wind of the situations he got really mad at me, he told me, when one is in combat they must fight with both their hands and their mouth, it was my first lesson in propaganda.
Another time I got into a fight with a hutu kid, I have no idea what he was after hutu but he was definitely the lower class hutus, I think Saleban or something, very ratchet thing he was, the beast tried to stole my toys and even though I let that pass he wanted to fight me,God knows why, but we beat him, I had help beating this kid from an older kid who was non-Somali who knew my older brother. Later that same day, my dad calls me to the door and I see the Dameer crying with his mother next to him stinking, I wanted to spit on them, I was infuriated because he started the fight and he has the audacity to come to my home and embarrass me, my Dad swiftly excused us and told me in a serious manner, "apologies", I refused of course, so he charmed the woman and got them to leave. As soon as the door closet the embarrassment of being associated with kids my mother told me not to play with was not important anymore, I was so scared after having stood my ground, but my dad just laughed and said "bad boy", I went into my room and got back to playing Crash Bandicoot with my brother.

I rarely fought but when i did,no one knew of it.I would never tell.
Re: are all somali dads like this?
My parents didn't care whether I won a fight or lost it, it all came down to why do it on school property.
