i agree it is all exaggerated , i havent seen any big battles.

and these have not reached the intensity of grozny in the early 90's now that was something else.

and why are the syrians using tanks in urban areas?
didnt they do their homework?

this is not what tanks are designed for, at least put some reactive armour on those tanks, i havent seen any on these videos.
without reactive armour they are vulnerable to rpg-7.

you dont send armour in, you hold the chokepoints and shell the fuk out the place, to hell with civilians.
you then send in some infantry backed by helicopters, after the areas was suitably screened with artillary.

you besiege and starve the rebels out.

it looks like command and control of the syrian army is breaking down, you have units playing it smart and professional and exterminating rebels, and you have other units behaving like idiots and look like they are doing everything wrong deliberately.

You really do have informed mind when it comes to military where did you get that from GUREY

and the reason you see these Tanks and Bmps roaming across streets with out the adequate infantry support is as I once read some where
first off all the Syrian army that was Built and trained since the days of Hafiz Al Assad where never designed to fight these kinds of battles
let alone facing it in there own Cities and the fact that Syrias 6 military divisions 4 of them being armored while the rest infantry combine that
with defections one can figure the army has been greatly reduced numerically although the recent recruitment of Local Militia
as evident in the province of Homs gave the military a breathing space to venture and embark on more serious blowing campaigns like that of Qusair.


What I also find amazing about this conflict is, its the first of its kind interms of the uncensored combat scenes
the Syrian war is the first YouTube War every thing is on there to be viewed no need for War correspondents any More Thanks to those fearless Salafis

but still if you dont have the resources to fight a street battle , do not fight it, and do not use tanks.

i am sure there is a political reason for doing this, syrian officers must know this more than anyone else, but they have to listen to political orders.

They need to be cold-hearted and logical to win this war, and subjugate all political decisions to millitary ones.

i see this stalemate lasting for a while longer, the syrian army is advancing and winning battles but does not have the manpower to use these victories,

The biggest obstacle now for the mujahideen is hezbushaytan and the fact that the Shirk Republic of Iran has sent 4,000 troops to fight alongside the kuffar.

hezbushaytan have been decisively defeated a number of times but the mushrikeen from Iran have increased their presence in Syria.

The mujahideen just need more sophisticated weapons, they are using mostly old and homemade weapons and are still making gains.
