WADANI(Including UMADDA) + UCID have more supporters than Kulmiye as seen in the last local elections in 2012. It is also said Xaqsoor supporters are joining UCID.

There has to be fair elections for the sake of Somaliland succeeding as a democratic recognized state. You have already seen the problems the smaller Xaqsoor
party caused, imagine a party with a very large support base across Somaliland.


A fair election is in the interest of Somaliland.

Somaliland is not a democrat. All that election talk is nothing but a showbiz for the man in New York city with the ixtiraaf paper but the locals have given up and now want their reer to get every seat. You are day dreaming if you think the force of unity amongst Isaaq is ixtiraaf in 2013.

A lot has changed and they don't care about ixtiraaf anymore. It is going to get dirty and ugly and every habar will have her knife out.

right to try and preach us about democracy when journalists in Ethiopia are censored in many regions and they can't even take pictures of it, political opponents
are jailed daily, Muslims in Ethiopia not allowed to practice their religion in Addis Ababa and other areas. Somaliland is not a perfect democracy but it will get

Lol Siilaanyo at the end of the day was democratically elected by 49% of Somalilanders while others voted for two other parties, whether people like him or not
he's a legal President more legal than Culusow of Somalia and his term is not up yet. When his term is up and he refuses to hold fair elections then that is
when he can be overthrown like Morsi.

The Arabs are doing what we landers have done in the 80's. The revolution ended with the formation of somaliland. You are definitely wrong to say that silanyo should be thrown out. He was elected by the people. The elections are very soon so calm down dear. We'll see the results then.

Yes he should be thrown out of office and be held accountable for all the crimes he has committed while in office ! He brought nothing but a divisive politics, qabylad, tuugnimo and exasho which were unknown to the people. The cajuus has broken the laws, scoffed at the so called constitution numerous of times, tried to dismantle the opposition parties, murdered and killed innocent children in all parts of SL! So the notion that he will arrange a free and fair election in the future is a laughable when we already know how the thugs stole the last election.
I am hoping that people can see through this egoistic man's crap and his failed policies! Inshallah an upraising against him will take place after Ramadan and he will be thrown out like the dog he is He has embarrassed us and made us the laughing stock of the somalis and the world!
