It will be the first taste of real democratic justice seen in the city for decades.
Courts and prisons service must be established alongside a strong security force.
Never again will Hassan Sheikhs moryaans be allowed to threaten the people.

Building the institutions
Shabelle media: farah abdulqadir has recognized ahmed madobe administration and signed agreement with him in nairobi.
Other news says that hassan sheekh has accepted the agreement but other wings are againist recognizing him before reaching the deal...
According to their agreement, sh madobe will soon arrive in xamar for talks about the port and the airports revenues.
Its like the somali govt is giving up its posistion againist the KDF in kismayo and there is a new compromise...

Sahal......this outcome was never in doubt.....only Hagite dreamers believed the UN/AU/UK would turn Kismayo over to them.
Hopefully with the recognition of the legitimately elected J/Land administration, the Somali Govt will now end its obsession and concentrate on solving the myriad problems facing the country.

Its economically motivated... There is the EU new deal conference for somalia in brusseles and they want to sell them their policies...turkey agreement, jubbaland agreement...there is also a public impression that hassan sheekh has fialed in his interior polocies regardless of his smiles and being giddily confident...nevertheless, he is good at management and knows how to play his cards. any other president would have had other problems within the government.
Now, this initiative has been going on during the war days, war can change the game not the talks...there are a group called al tadamun who hail from the same clan of madobe and are another wing of dam jadeed but only exisit in ogaden... this group who were representing madobe in xamar and farah abdul qadir have sorted it out in the last weeks.
Lastly, there is nothing like your dream jubbaland, its control on its institutions and resources is very limited, nothing like puntland... It will get integrated in the central government according to the agreement and locally it has to be all inclusive
That is what they call compromise so don't say you won it or the others...
As for kenya, like they said, bad choices lead bad consequences... Kenya is turning up the pressure on him by using many camps including the local ones, on the other hand the govts pressure will still be on kenya until a resolution is reached, atleast the world is now aware of... so dismounting from your position for a local reasons that have nothing to do with the world-wide doesn't mean giving up, its 50/50 but atleast your not the one who is badly wounded...

Pres Hassan Sh and Farax Abdulkadir are willing to compromise but I hear some other ministers including the Interior minister are against the current moves because they believe they have already invested resources in overthrowing Madoobe and that these efforts will be in vain. Pres Hassan said he is not willing to destabilize his government any further and wants to move forward.sahal80 wrote:Building the institutions![]()

Good move on both sides for now.

The interior minister his main duty is to to keep the security in the capital wich is getting out of hand because he is too busy with other regions. As a national security and interior minister it is his department to deal with every region but he makes confrontations in most of the time but he was possitive and did great in turkey so that is his file...
Farah abdulqadir uses his al tadamun relations, kenya and ethiopia the two countries that are involved and is ready for compromise.
If the president accepts it then that is it. the pm also has refused to meet al tadamun when they tried to visit him and that make it look like not accepted by all the wings...
