I was under the impression that this Garbaharay Airport project was abandoned. It is good to see that is not the case.

An airport there by itself won't do any good, if travel to Garbaharey isn't easy. Gedo needs a serious roads project. For now though people in Gedo people are using the airport at Doolow which seems to be good.

Turbulence when did the Garbaharay runway project begin ? I don't see any significant change even though it has received massive funds from the diaspora and the project has been asking for funds for almost more than 5 years.

The Caabudwaaq runway is very shiit, but at least within a very short period of time they have managed to done something that has enabled weekly flights to Caabudwaaq from Nairobi, every Tuesday, the down side is that you have to transit in Mogadishu. Next step for Caabudwaaq is to develop the facilities of the airport so that transit to Mogadishu isn't necessary.

Gedo needs proper roads system to interconnect B/Xaawo-Garbaharray-Bardheere, inter-state road system. We also need a latitude road system from Luuq to Ceelcadde, not to mention proper asphalt.

Since majority of the districts are warzone free, how can we start them.
