Hawdian so gal

Post by IbnTaymiyyah »

You have been lately saying that Mogadishu have to lose her status as Capital city, but i speak on behalf of Mogadishu as true mogadishian.

When balad captured what is called today South somalia iyo Mogadishu it was by the sword and i guess there was alot of bloodsheet, and after that we builded the city called Mogadishu, like never seen before. and now you are telling us that some kind of desert up in the North city called Erigavo should become the Capital. my reply to that is over my fukin dead body. Mogadishu have alot of mystic, and there is alot of love between Mogadishu and beesha, you will never understand that. tears, blood, sved, and sacrific was given to Mogadishu + many kingdoms. we gave it beauty + history

700 years ago Mogadishu was rising, and shall forever live on  read ibn battutas visit to Mogadishu! great city of joy, holy city and the White Pearl of indian ocean :rose:

Mogadishu has the most beautiful history, it is so high in grandeur, only Allah can bring us back to our past greatness

"One of them eats as much as several of us: they are very fat and corpulent"

How different is it today lol,

Marlboro aka ST :)

Mogadishu is Hawiye town and I am happy for Hawiye but the rest of Somalia can't share a capital state with Hawiye. The days of bloodshed are long gone and ancient. Only Hawiye believe in bloodshed and dragging the dead bodies and that's why the rest of Somalis can't risk their own lives with Hawiye dominated town full of isbaaro, Bantu troopers, midnight kidnappers, dead body draggers and serial rapists.

Today, all we need is Darod, Isaaq, Dir parliament members to vote for a new capital and push it under the new Constitution. There is nothing 50 Hawiye elders can do about it when you have 30 Isaaq, 50 Darod, 20 Dir, and Rahawein are most likely going to join us...after all it was Hawiye that starved them to death.

Erigavo is the future. Hawiye and Mogadishu died in 1991. RIP.

Mogadishu is soon peaceful, and everybody are welcome, and we want people to believe we are not Savages.. we are just romantic people, WHO do not love xaaq daaro..

But the other somalis have negativ believes i guess, actully the most welcoming people are hawiye..
thats why its easy for us to have the Capital, we can be patient towards our guests and accept them. something the other somalis do not have..

we are the must spoft spoken people amongst somaliweyn oo dhan..

we died 1991 that i refuse

Sxb it is time for a change and Mogadishu is gone with the 18 regions, Siad Barre, old socialist constitution and the past. Now its a fresh beginning and a new capital will ensure the same people who destroyed the old Somalia, don't ruin Somalia Version 2.0 --- taking the capital up north is necessary. The numbers are with the northerners.

Why take the Capital to desert areas, if your judge is not biased, then how come u never mention cities like marka, barawe or kismayo.. they er much better then erigavo, but all in all no politician will support this..

Marlboro,

Erigavo is not a desert. It has better climate and water resources than Mogadishu. The Italians lied to the Hawiye and the Hawiye thought just because its next to an ocean it must not be a desert. Let's be realistic here. It was just yesterday when 250,000 Southern Somalis perished due to hunger and thirst. Where were Mogadishu, Marka, Barawe and Kismayo? How many died in this northern 'desert'?

The notion that the south has more water is misleading. Let's be honest about that one. It has two following rivers but both rivers' source birth are in Ethiopia and Ethiopia has already dammed one and plans to build more dams eventually blocking that flow of water...and diverting to its arid land.

What secessionist in the north don't even know is that they sit on the biggest lake of water in any Somali region but they are too busy crying instead of harnessing Somalia's channels and venue of access to tap such resources. If leading international water companies came to them and said we will drill these water for you in the name of Somali Republic, they will reject and instead die of thirst. They are very stubborn, arrogant and largely inflexible people.

Here is a NASA photo showing the underground water of Africa...see Erigavo is blessed with a huge lake of fresh underground water that can sustain this city for thousands of years and by then we will learn to harness the saline water (sodium chloride).

Image

As you can see from the figure, that lake is almost as big as North Somalia itself and has the potential to produce 5-20 liters per second. The two rivers that will dry up in the future don't even flow at that rate.

Since I was in high school I always thought of way of solving water issues in the north.

As well as water, economic and social advantages over Mogadishu in the long term, the city is also much much secure than Mogadishu. It is slightly far away from the ocean which means foreign naval forces will not make an easy landing like the Delta Forces of 1993, Italians, Portuguese, Arab and Persian invaders.

This also means far from Tsunami and future typhoons as climate change takes full effect.

Most of Mogadishu will erode and will be swallowed by the sea in the future. The sand is already eating the city alive.

Erigavo has huge mountains that can provide emergency underground bunkers and shield against foreign enemies.

All in all, one day Somalis will see what I see.

I present you with the future.......Erigavo.

And this is me riding the victory horse hehehehe (just for fun)...

Marlboro you called me and you got served

If I can get Isaaq, Dir and Darods to put their egos and arrogance aside, the game is set and Hawiye will be entertaining themselves and we all know how HG and Abgaal can't even share the same mini bus in Mogadishu.

HG will be blockading Abgaal and will be forcing them to pay isbaaro fees if they want to travel north to the new national capital.

Tsunami, typhoons and hurricanes are very real. Not long ago Houston in Texas used to say the same.

Mogadishu is nice historical city and like Zeila, it was once a capital city. Time to move on.

Zeila was the capital of Adal Kingdom which controlled all of North Somalia, Djibouti and 75% of Ethiopia. 3 times more land than Mogadishu did under Siad Barre. Mogadishu was the capital and that chapter died with Siad Barre, centralization and the old socialist constitution.

Somaliland people have to accept the new reality and like wise Mogadishu has to accept the new reality. Somaliland has to let go of 1960 resentment/attachment and Mogadishu has to learn to let go of its past status. It is all about sacrifices.

Everyone in Somalia is making sacrifices and it won't be fair after Mogadishu killed directly or indirectly more than 5 million Somalis since 1980s, just to reward her again and help her stand up again just so it can repeat the same abuses. No.

The Somali problem is embedded in Mogadishu and we need to slap them across the face by relocating the capital. They must know they are that vulnerable and they are not above the rest of Somalis. No one needs to invade Mogadishu, all we need is 50 Isaaq lawmakers, 50 Darod lawmakers, 25 Dir lawmakers, 50 Digil and Mirifle to vote YES to a new capital and out number the Hawiye lawmakers and their supporters...its all about majority voice.

And unlike Mogadishu, I believe Erigavo will be a much better host to all Somalis.

There will be time when Somalis will relocate...just be prepared. Mogadishu is no more important than 15th century Zeila that controlled 60% of the Horn of Africa.

Zeila had much glorious past and more gold and glitter but it humbly accepted its new faith. The same awaits for Mogadishu.

Adali Kingdom, controlled 75% of ethiopia, Nigga please!

Adali captured ethiopias highlands like only for 10 years where they made big huge genocide never forgotten, and only the highlands of ethiopia. because in the same time the oromo expansion started from lake abaaya. North to somali areas like Ogadenia, gedo iyo bakool. and after that short periode of 10 years adali was pushed back by the portugese empire, then adali came back to the North..

We do not feel like we are above the rest of somalis. and Again zeila never controlled that much Again like u say 60 % hell no.. i would say around 15% or maybe less.

I think i have figured out the problem in somalia, but i will make another thread for that.. another day!
