Future Divisions of Somalia

behold, if the former italian colony called somalia can recover to become a federal nation-state, then it should be divided into only 5 regions/states headed by an ELECTED governor instead of the current 14 (if mudug is split) as it wont have enough cash to finance so many regions in a poor country. therefore without further ado, i shall present you the as of yet unnamed regions:

region 1 (yellow) - bari, nugaal and upper mudug with garowe as capital
region 2 (green) - lower mudug, galguduud and hiiraan with beledweyne as capital
region 3 (blue) - both shabelles and banadir with marka as capital
region 4 (red) - bay and bakool with baydhabo as capital
region 5 (purple) - both jubbas and gedo with kismayo as capital

feedback is welcome, STAY ON TOPIC!!!

Wrong info

No way hiiraan to be part of a central state, they have nothing in common.

Btw hiiraan has borders with 5 gobols so they have many choices to join where they like but no way galgaduud mudug

Lol not about me personally but I know hiiraan will never accept such suggestion. Hiiraan and central clans are politically different for example hiiraan was anti-ahlusunna proposals and has taking back matabaan from ahlusunna administration into hiiraan administration.

A federal state needs to be a political entity before any other thing.
