met an old somali woman @ a nursing home
I could not believe my eyes that a somali family would put their aging grandma in a nursing home, so I said "ayeeyo what happen to ur family"?. She paused and had a blank stare for about 30 seconds and shook her head in disappointment saying "ayeeyo I married an ajnabi in 1959".

That is a beautiful anti-ajnabi ad right there. I might even produce an ad like that and release it all over UniversalTV (plus all the other useless channels) and even in Somalia.

Can't believe I agree with you but that's not an entirely bad ideaAfroBro wrote:That is a beautiful anti-ajnabi ad right there. I might even produce an ad like that and release it all over UniversalTV (plus all the other useless channels) and even in Somalia.

You never call a woman ayeyo unless she's your ayeyoAdvo wrote:I said "ayeeyo what happen to ur family"?. She paused and had a blank stare for about 30 seconds and shook her head in disappointment saying "ayeeyo I married an ajnabi in 1959".

^Why? Does it reinforce the patriarchy and rape culture?
