djibouti equips govt troops in hiiraan with armed vechicles

Post by sahal80 »

Though the somali government has given the go ahead for djiboutian direct aid to the govt administration in hiiraan and is closely connected with the somali defense department to the point that the government is planning this region to be the base of the national army in the near future for its important location, its also linked with the advantage of having djibouti amisom. Since they arrived the size of of the hiiraan army has risen, they nearly trained 3000 soldiers and now their officials has said its their time to get fully equiped.

During the somali pms visit to galgaduud towns, 250 hiiraan forces led by the hiiraan commander were accompaigning dijbouti amisom troops in their keeping for security, thus, dijbouti is preparing them so they can share the tasks and that is the apportunity hiiraan had so far.

The somali defence minister has received in hiiraan from his djiboutian counterpart a tons of small weapons and 10 armed vechicles to be supplied to the local army. :som:

Djibouti has no fit army. They are all elders with calool and beard. They know how to hold a wine bottle and khat not guns.

The Djiboutians got their arses handed to them and if it were not for their French protectors, Asmara would have run over Djibout in 5 hrs beating the Iraqi take over of Kuwait.

Geoseven,

Djiboutians are just as opportunistic as the other IGAD countries. I still remember how Kenya and Ethiopia refused to allow US AC-130 gunships from flying missions into Mogadishu in 1993 from their territory while "Brotherly" Djibouti agreed.

In Somali politics anybody that helps you is seen as your "brother".

S/L brothers= Ethiopia
P/L brothers=Ethiopia
Mogadishu brothers=Uganda
J/L brothers=Kenya

That they`re all gaalo and are involved in the slaughter of countless Somali`s is lost on them.
Welcome to Somalia :D :som:

Hiiraan brothers are djibouti.

Djbouti is not like the rest of amisom, they do it from their heart, they provide extra things, last time they gave some official local guys $100,000 and small presents. as a muslims who only eat halal food, they spend their money in the local markets...business men get $50,000 less than a week.

This is the army they made and are equiping them now

Its all good and well parading around with flags and such, but when will they enter the trenches and fight the Shabaab?
Last time you were boasting about thousands of troops with armored vehicles, and then without any sense of irony you claimed local reer badiye will be fighting Al Shabaab. :D :som:

OD

The majority of hiiraan is free from al shabaab we can even liberate bulo burde and jalalqasi just in one day, this thing is very easy in hiiraan bc they have less support in here.

Al shabaab has arrived in hiiraan in 2010 for a local accident that they took advantage of it so it wasn't a project... Al shabaab were in the south and east of galgaduud since 2008 and hiiraan had an official governor till 2010 after they killed omar hashi and 70 leaders the region has gone under political confusion but they recovered from it now.

We need to be financially ready for this to expend the administration in the south and now with getting the enough military equipments their time is up.

Its not about liberation, each time this army itself keeps chasing them at buuloburde borders in halgan and garasyaani the problem is the hiiraan borders they can land from no where so its about tactics..
