Competition. The plants in Somalia usually supply people they are connected to where as original Coke importers who held the market have well established old friends that they can't easily replace...the plants in Somalia generally supply new players and the old feel the need to compete due to ego and pride.

The Coke from ME does not taste better nor is it any cheaper. You have to pay for shipping where as this local one you can pick it up yourself with your father's truck.

All cokes use the same formula and ingredients even though the version for third world countries generally has more sugars.

Not really hawdian the xabashi and Djibouti cokes r disgusting ...not to mention the recyclable glass bottle ... I hve had the sbi coke and the arabic ones By far the arabic cokes r superior in taste to any coke ive taste ... The fizz is unbelievable

Aishah the one from ME and the one in Africa are the same and they contain about the same sugar contents. The ones in North America have less sugars and I heard they also use syrup (corn) instead of sugars.

The one in Africa just needs better refrigeration.
