This is as tough as Obama gets!

Post by SultanOrder »

Those who don't understand Obama, always understimate him and his style of dealing with issues. He is a soft talker, and in public will be more mellow, but in private he is usually tougher. This type of rhetoric from Obama is a clear indication, for those who know him, that he is serious. We shall see how things play out.

People don't understand that America has become more nuanced and smarter in it's geo-political outlook when it comes to the middle east. Other than the strong support for Israel, America is becoming more and more concerned about the time bomb that is the middle east. They are slowly going from an energy focused middle east policy, to a security focused middle east policy. They know that a 70% youth poor population, with civil strife is a jihaadi recruiters wet dream. Look at what is happening to Syria, and what happened to Iraq and Afghanistan. That has cost America trillions of dollars in dealing with it. They know it's not worth the cost. The middle east is not the middle east of 30-40 years ago, where you can support dictators and not worry about Jihadis. They do not want Egypt to go the way of Syria, Iraq, or Libya. They don't want more people blaming them. It's just too expensive. At the same time, America has seen it's biggest energy boom in centuries, and it is less focused on the Expensive upkeep of the middle east.

Things are a changing, even if it slow. Iraq and Afghanistan were terrible lessons for America.

Bahrain is important to America because it holds the biggest naval base in the Middle east. Also it has a majority shia population that if they took over would align with Iran. As a nation, it doesn't hold the same weight has Egypt holds in the middle east. They are two different realities. I am not defending Obama, I am just trying to analyze what shift America is making.

Whatever the shift you'd be smart enough to give credit to the monster of the world, America only moves by interest, so if they are saying one thing like they condemn the government of egypt, this is because of interest, and so what does Obama want out of egypt, civil war obviously.

In this instance, America is caught between a rock and a hard place.

@ZA
The Fifth fleet are stationed in Bahrain. If the Shia had their way, America would lose it and with it the strait of Hormuz.

@PO, I hear what you are trying to say but I'm just saying, whatever comes out of that defiant liar regarding muslim nations, is solely based on hid interest, and the interest of his puppeteers, and their interest is clearly nothing good for Islam in general.

You need to take your Hosni goggles off for a min. Do you see anyone saying Obama or America is doing anything against their interests? What I am saying is that America is now more concerned about Jihaadis and radicalization of the middle east population more than ever, an increasing concern everyday. Why? Because it costs the US trillions of dollars in security. Going so far as to closings the most amounts of embassies at one time in the history of the United states because of a possibility of an attack. Do you know how hard it is for them to keep track of terrorist cells, their communication and whereabouts? Do you how much money and resources goes into that? Do you know how much money it costs to have the man power and intelligence gathering on the ground? Do you know how much money it costs for America to protect it's borders? Trillions of dollars? Do you think they want to continue to spend that kind of money? So why support dictators and oppressors if it costs you so much money, but you get little in return? Energy use to be their sole concern in the middle east, but now they have potentially more energy in and around the United states than the middle east. Do you understand what interest America is going to pursue?

It's all an act. It doesn't take a genius to know that what's happening in Egypt has been orchestrated by the state department, the Saudis, the Qataris and the Israelis.

Masturbation fodder for those old kunts in the state department and the Mosad.
