Why oh Why ...Do i feel this much Guilt.?

Post by The-Screw »

recently the number of somalis in my city has increased to an all time high and when that happens you start to notices somalis pretty much everywhere. so everyday when i'm driving around minding my own business i see them walking on the sidewalks and i feel guilt, i don't know why. the temperature is hot, there's a lot of traffic, and i see a somali person walking and looking at every car that passes by, i tried helping few once, but for some reason it's like they are affraid of me, i roll the window down and ask them if they need a lift, they stand back as far as they can and say no we're just going out for excercise, i'm thinking to myself yeah f.ucking right, who excercises in these conditions? i feel really really really bad for the islaamo b/c they wear heavy clothing and stuff. odayaasha are cool, if they need a lift they'll get your attention and ask if you can drop them off at the coffee place or the mall. the other day i saw sadax islaamo sitting at the bus stop waiting... walahi i felt so guilty waan iska asha haatay. do you feel guilt when you see something like this ? is it normal?

i noticed that too in older men... Odayaasha ask questions about qabiil and stuff, i always downplay it and change the subject. they're like crack addicts, they can't help it... it's in their blood. but why do you care, you performed your duties as a muslim by helping a brother/sister in need... leave the rest to God.

Was dat in Nederland? I can swear i have never noticed qabiilism in Holland just England. Or maybe it was because I was young?

Every Somali used to support each other. Never have i seen some1 talking about qabiil in Dutch country.

There is nothing wrong with asking qabiil. You could be related or close family.
Qabiil can take you to jannah if you used wisely.

Shocked ilahoow yaan waano kuugu imaanin qofyahoow

the only thing that will take you to jannah is how you worship your creator

he has point here, 'charity starts home' & brotherhood both are qualities for jannah...

from what I perceived the type of guilt u r feeling, is what we call *false* guilt as u expect 2 much of ur self and others, beside u mentioned in ur above scripture, that u asked them if they want a ride, but they rebuffed ur request, which demonstrates u attempted 2 assist them.... Smile

false guilt usually includes thoughts, feelings and fantasies which r reactions u r able 2 modify....and this false guilt comes from ur overreacted conscious which is like a magnet of expectations....matter of fact it changes the over-react conscious 2 voracious conscious sometimes....false guilt which leads 2 over-reacting conscious makes u attempt 2 gratify ppl and rules 2 be kept.... Rolling Eyes

memorizing this phrase *a man can’t do more than he can* it might help u....beside this noble verse from the quran.... *Allah* burdens not a person beyond his scope…He gets reward 4 that (*good*) which he has earned, and he’s punished 4 that (*evil*) which he has earned* (2:286).... Very Happy

i have no idea what Ureyso just said either. but you just can't help but feel sorry for a man holding the hands of his two daughters walking in the sun dodging traffic. i don't care who you are, as long as you are a muslim person a scene like that turns your stomach.
