Thinking like a man?
Something I've been thinking about for a while now and something in CR's thread reminded me.
When someone tells you about their problem do you automatically start thinking about a solution for it or do you just listen? Apparently it's a man thing to try and look for solutions. But why? Why wouldn't you think of a solution if you have a problem regardless of gender?
Ladies don't you find it insulting that we're just supposed to wallow in our problems? But then again I think this has made me slightly insensitive because it annoys me when someone is then wallowing because the solution is right there.

Men fix stuff, women make food.
Re: Thinking like a man?
Women talk their problems out. Thats why we tell eachother the most mundand of things "shiit my split end are back....I have nothing to wear" etc etc
Men are fixers, they dont want to listen to a problem that they either 1. cant fix 2.dont need to fix

If it's a woman, I just listen and nod my head
If it's a guy I bitch slap him for dumping his First World Problems on me and tell him to man the fuck up and solve the problem himself.

See that's what I mean nowadays I noticed if my friend says hey I have split ends again I'd be like why don't you go to the hairdressers or ask her to join me if I was planning on going. If it's the clothes I'd make a suggestion etcms.naliaa wrote:

I noticed it with big life problems particularly I can't just sit there and nod but that's normal right?
Re: Thinking like a man?
I am a problem solver and i have been asked not to offer a feedback on different issues by my female friends.
It is automatic rsponse for me.
