The story circulating back then wasn't only about rape, but as well as being pregnant. After she was released, they admitted she was neither raped nor pregnant. Perhaps you and fah forgot it. I'm sure in her memoirs/autobiography, there's no mention of either.

If she lied about pregnancy, then she lied about rape. Also, there's no mention of rape/pregnancy on Wikipedia:

Besides, she doesn't have to be pregnant after a rape.
