I remember in 2003 when my friend (bike buddies) told me about snet forums, he was into tribes and shit but I never paid it much attention until I moved out of state and my whole high school was talking about qarxis, so I started reading here and there but eventually joined in 2006.

Abdi, back then people would make post in the north america section listing all the suspect hoes, who slept with who, who had an abortion etc names being listed, ages, addresses and no they didn't have to be members lol if I can recall there was a fight cus they assumed this random girl was behind it

There were no mods and people could post whatever they desired, occasionally waryaa would drop by every several months but place was chaos. Most of the members stayed in the clan section, the general section was not popular, the uk section was huuuuuge and I spent most of my time there learning the lingo.

I joined here 2006, in the age of only 17.. i use to come online here until 2007. after that I have not been here since before this ramadan..

I remember AW, Yalaxoow, Galia, Lionheart, and gurey... back then they were all trollers. But Yalaxoow was the biggeste troller amongst those i can remember..

seems people here were smarter and harsher.

Yeah, the UK section was amazing. I always used to read it around 2002 till about 2005. The level of disrespect was unreal but great at the same time. I have known many people who were posted about resulting into violence and my name, college and mobile number was posted once as well. There was a girl who used to like me in college but people having come to love their dial up connection decided it was a good idea I was dealing with her and post my number and shit.


I'll never forget her brothers phoning me. I had to watch my back going to college for 2 weeks.
