Remembering the WMD that wasn't in Iraq, the oppositions in the UK and US have stopped the momentum for building a coalition against Assad. The evidence is there, but doesn't go high enough to necessarily implicate Assad himself:
http://xfinity.comcast.net/articles/new ... tes-Syria/
"More intelligence was being sought by U.S. officials. While a lower-level Syrian military commanders' communications discussing a chemical attack had been intercepted, they don't specifically link the attack to an official senior enough to tie the killings to Assad himself, according to one U.S. intelligence official and two other U.S. officials. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the intelligence publicly.
The White House ideally wants intelligence that links the attack directly to Assad or someone in his inner circle, to rule out the possibility that a rogue element of the military acting without Assad's authorization.
That quest for added intelligence has delayed the release of the report by the Office of the Director for National Intelligence laying out evidence against Assad. The report was promised earlier this week by administration officials."

Intervention wont do good to Syria.
They should let Syrians solve the problems between themselves.
Did Intervention do good for Somalia? Or Iraq? Every day suicideattacks and killings.
The people must solve their own problems.

Grant, President Obama is perhaps seeking legal justification and international support. He is a very prudent president and basically anti-war. But, Assad's use of gas should not go unanswered.
The command and communication structures, airforce bases and his military factories should be targeted; send a message to him and other potential users of weapons of mass destructions.
Surgical bombing will do the work

Obonga is so indecisive.
He needs to put the hashish down and think clearly.

Re: The Strike on Syria is on Hold
It was the Israeli who supposedly intercepted an conversation between Syrian military commanders discussing a chemical attack. Still to date. No real factual evidence has shown it was the Syrian regime behind the chemical attack. But the evidence doesn't matter, this war has never been about civilian deaths but the removal of a thorn to American/Zionist hegemony in the Middle East"More intelligence was being sought by U.S. officials.
