Somalis In Canada are backward!!!

They welcomed the sharif nicely but they can't use the right utensils for the welcoming ceremoney.
They are using glasses the kafiriin use for drinking alcohol.
I was shocked. I thought Gudoomiyaha Barlamanka was alcoholic.
But then I realised Canadian Somalis are still backward. They just bought glasses they saw on display in Pub windows.
Next time use your heads. Don't make us laughing stock of the Islamic world.

What is banned in Islam, the glass or the product? Do you think that Muslim females should be banned from driving, working, studying in mixed gender environments just to prevent a potential sin with males?

But why use Pub glasses normally used for alcohol?
They don't even know those glases are used for khamri.

In regards to that question our Prophet pbuh answered in two different styles. The first, beggining in banning alcohol, he asked his followers to break all utensils that they used to serve on alcohol, and later on, on another occassion he advised a specific questioner to ONLY clean his utensils that he used for alcohol and consume it with halal liquids. Your point must be culturally based. Let us agree to disagree. That is why I don't eat meals with my fingers like my parents and ancestors did, and how about you? Does that mean being a backward? In judging that, let us seperate culture from religion.

Those Somalis have either no clue or are plain stupid to serve with Champagne glasses while they are dining salads!

Am not agitated, but on what grounds are you against glasses? Can you elaborate. Religious grounds or cultural?

I have seen many Somalis who eat at McDonalds and other fast food restraunts.

Let me tell you this, Its very hard(almost imp.) for guys to focus on the inside if the outside doent look good Laughing

As for the Glasses, they have that in every somali wedding , cos thats what they serve water with at these banquet halls and/or hotels, so no biggy as far as i am concerned.
