For 53 years there hasn't been a reer Waqooyi president because there has always been inequality when it came to political representation. When we united in 1960, it was 2 separate countries. Is it fair markaa to split the seats of the parliament so that Waqooyi only gets 33 seats while koonfur gets 120 seats? This proves what the professor was saying, lama wada yeelan jamhuuriyadii. We became a province and our territory annexed by koonfur which lead to dissatisfaction among the communities from Somaliland because they were betrayed and deceived.
