My friend, religion should not be in that list, as it is not a life-service or life-choice but an moral obligation!

I couldn't care less. Too many people do this and it pisses me off.

Assuming that everyone had this exact mind set?? Its presumptuous on your part.Individual wrote:My friend, religion should not be in that list, as it is not a life-service or life-choice but an moral obligation!

I personal have had a service to others approach to life but I am leaning towards service to self since many people tend to be unappreciative...Usually those that go rouge from STO to STS end up being the cutthroat cold-stone sort. Those who start of as STS tend to fall hard & are susceptible to catastrophic failures.

I don't believe anyone can provide a "service" to their religion. Religion is a set of teachings and beliefs which one incorporates into their worldview and day-to-day life - one incorporates it into their life. I think trying to help humanity in general is important as that places importances on all of humanity rather than being biased towards a group one often did not choose to be affiliated with (ie. motherland, nation one is born in, ethnic group, clan, etc). Then, based on needs of those oppressed or troubled and one's own abilities, we can then determine which group to focus on.

Couldn't have said it better. Many people are too hung up on religion & other fragments of themselves to see the larger picture that humanity trumps all other needs...everything else is secondary. It explains all the reason for all conflicts & wars...Religion has long been tainted by mans lust & need to stay in power... While being part of Humanity is hardwired within each of us many people try to suppress this & wonder why they can't find to much traction in this world...CushiticReflections wrote:I don't believe anyone can provide a "service" to their religion. Your grammar is incorrect. If you could care any less, then you should because if you don't then you don't make sense.Spec2014 wrote:What do you mean?Insomniac wrote:I couldn't care less. Too many people do this and it pisses me off.

I guess you didn't get the position as an English teacher so you take it on your self to correct other people's typos, grammar & spelling online with-out pay??Insomniac wrote:Your grammar is incorrect. I am not one to correct people but I have seen this same mistake a lot of times. It slowly wears you down. I suggest you edit it and feel bad about yourself.
