Do you split the bill with your friends?

Honestly, I measure the depth/sincerity of a friendship by the willingness of a friend to split the bill. I have some friends where we don't split the bill. I have other friends where we ALWAYS split the bill. There was this one time I tried Korean BBQ with my coworkers and their friends, and there were 10 of us. The bill was like $200 something without the tip. Obviously, we split the bill because it was way more cost-effective.

So, are you more inclined to split the bill or just pay for your own meal? For me, if I really like you and enjoy the time I spend with you, I would want to. If I just met you, then, no.

If it was a date, I would probably split the bill too.

So, ladies and boys, would you split the bill if it was a date? Would you split the bill if it was a friendly gathering?

savy, never let a female pay for anything if she is with you; friend or someone your seeing.
As for splitting the bill, yes it makes things easier on everyone.

my apologies, i wasn't sure about your sex but i chose to go with addressing you as a male seeing as guys get more offended than girls if you mistakenly address them as a girl

Ignore the fools above us^^^^ I personally would always pay for females regardless on date or not!, as for friends it depends on their financial circumstances!

Chivalry is a rare commodity these day ;)

You must on budget if you are too worried about paying 100 night out with friends. To avoid the awkward situation i usually pull my credit card before anybody and lay it in the table. Now some smart ass will try to put on a show and insist on paying even-though there were all quite before I pulled the credit card :pac:

Actually, I am! I'm not working right now, so I can't blow money quite like I used to. My friends and I always go to this sushi place, but only during happy hour and we only order off of the happy hour menu. :troll:

I don't think you and I could get along. I hate when guys do things for me. "Boy, I am a strong, independent, black woman who don't need no man!" A couple of days ago, this Somali guy offered me a ride home. I said no because I don't ride in cars with boys. So, he waited with me for 25 minutes until my bus got there. I was like :snoop:

No, I don't drink. I've never even tasted alcohol. Yo, sushi can be expensive. $3.50 for a salmon roll? Hell yeah, we're eating there! Most of the menu is half-off during happy hour. :myman:

We keep separate checks. No need for me to subsidize someone's booze. It also prevents those awkward moments when someone comes up short.

If its a date, we take rotations or split the bill.

BlackRain,

Happy Hour is an American networking essential. 25 cent wings, $1 drafts :eat:

Always split (or pay my exact bill) unless i am treating someone or vice versa.
