Re: FAH.. quick question
Zulaika that's common sense. You can't put stolen and public in the same sentence. If the photos are public then its public. The girls should keep their pictures private if they don't want to be redistributed. There is no law against republication or redistribution. Once your a public you are a public and the laws of theft and stolen don't apply.
Were their computers hacked? Were their emails sabotaged? No, the photos were on public domains and its the responsibilities of those girls not the people on Somalinet. Anagu aabo uma nihin. Wixi bananka iska kena bananka lagu qalaya.

Re: FAH.. quick question
No such need for permission, you give up ownership of anything you put online. Unless you copyright it there is no laws protecting itSecretAgent wrote:Still des pics were taken witout "permission" from da owner so its theft!

Re: FAH.. quick question
My logic says to agree but I think its my irrational female side, that is telling me courtesy should be given to people's personal pictures regardless. How confronting.Hawdian wrote:Zulaika that's common sense. You can't put stolen and public in the same sentence. If the photos are public then its public. It looks like secretAgent doesn't know the difference between legal and manners. Yes its very rude to download pictures of people in public profiles but you can't prosecute people for whats already online. Once they come on .com, .whatever domain you have signed all legal rights and they become the property of that domain/website and that website is open to the public. They are public materials.

It is on the internet the world owns it. Don't want your pic everywhere? Don't upload it. No mercy. Ignorance and naivety aren't excuses.

Yes, only a deranged person will give Somali men the benefit of the doubt when it comes to common decency and manners.

Re: FAH.. quick question
ah .."lax walba meesha isdhigta lagu qalaa"
waa fahmey, sheekadu waa sidaas
Im not here to defend girls who make their photos public..that is their shortcomings, I would hope others would not be party to their indescretion by "redistributing" and further exacerbate the problem..
but im always surprised at the men who would not scruple to pounce on unguarded women...and who defend themselves in doing so..waa la yaab wallee
twist,
huuno adiga iska aamu fadlan, maba ka hadli kadho xaaladaada, when it comes to these things
