How to pray

Guys, I need your help, I would have posted this question in the Islam section, but I know that more people will see it here and it was kinda dead there so, here it goes. Ok, I don't know how to pray. I've been looking for good websites that teach people how to pray, but the problem is I only know 4 surats of the qur'an in which i will have to repeat during my prayer session. Anyway, can you point me to the right direction? Thanks!

P.s. I'm really confused about the washing part, because some of the sites IÃ¢Â€Â™ve been to say that you should inhale water through your nose and other say that you should dap it, so which is it?

call 911 when they arrive tell them to take you to the nearest masjid (Mosque) am sure they will be able to help you better than any one would over the internet

PS Its much easier than you think, and also you can recite the 4 surats you know , then you can learn more suras after wards. no prob.

Every somali knows how to pray. Even this atheist who hasn't prayed in years knows how to pray. How the hell can you not know how to pray. What have you been doing all this time? Confused

PS: Just to clear on somethings...when you get to Sujud and it says that you should touch the ground with your knees first, that's actually incorrect, you should touch the ground with your hands first, there is a reason behind this (it has something to do with our Prophet (saw) warning us about sitting or praying like animals) I will try to find the hadith for you Insh'Allah Smile

Surria, are your parents muslim? I find it surprising that you, being a somali at your age, do not know how to pray. I was taught how to pray as soon as I learned to stand on my feet. Al xamdulilah.
