The correct way should be:

Ethnic: Somali
Language: Somali
Citizen: Somalian (citizens of Somali Federal Republic)

Somali can't be a citizenship because that means we have to invite every Somali alien to Somali Federal Republic including those in Djibouti, Kenya and Ethiopia. We have to redefine citizenship and make Somalian the correct terminology otherwise all aliens will flood into the republic and start debilitating the real citizens resources. The others should go back to their Ethiopia, Kenya and Djibouti.

It is unacceptable in my opinion and this is one of the things I will discover further in the near future.

Imagine Yemeni Arab living in Somalia and become a citizen, we can't refer to them as Yemeni Somalis but they should be official Somalians but they can't be Somali because ethnically they are not a Somali.

Ders no such thing as "somalian" only somali or somalis

The term doesn't exist now but it is necessary to probably define citizenship. We can't make every ethnic Somali a citizen of Somali Federal Republic. I know those who grasp politics will get me. Average Farax wuxu ka mareysan Somalian ma jiro...ma jiro wayo odayashi hore didn't get the constitution right and didn't define the citizens of Somalia. Every Somali is not a citizen of Somalia. It is like saying all Arabs are Saudi Arabians because KSA has Arabia in its name.

If your a Somali from the federal Republic, your a Somalian by citizen, if your from Djibouti you are Djiboutian, those in Ethiopia are Ethiopians and those in NFD are Kenyans.

I think the reason our elders of yesterday didn't go further than SOMALI in describing the people and and citizens as well could be for one reason only and that is, WE ARE SOLELY MADE UP FROM ONE COMPOSION meaning ethnicity via genetics. These other people you used as examples have nothing in common other than the land itself.


They differ in languages, cultures, Religion etc, and require something that bonds them to find a common ground.

BTW, we might change it in the future when other races adobt Somalia as their country.
