These people will sell each other out to save their own backs, it's so sad. They're so scared of the west to an extent where they can be turned against each other even for the fun of it. If the US wanted them to fight like dogs in a cage (middle east) they could easily make them do. Qatar/Emirates have given billions to Egypt because they're so scared of war and being toppled by the MB. These people are paranoid animals in the jungle that think building loads of tall skyscrapers will make the west think of them as human.

its worse than that, they hate other arabs and are activley aiding the west against each other on their own accord.

The gulf is different to the rest of the arabs.
They depend on the US for allot of things like defense , some are near totally dependant on US support like the saudis for special reasons,
others like kuwait, bahrain and qatar are too small to defend themselves.
The UAE and OMAN and large enough and stable enough to be more independant and their millitaries have been allowed to become real unlike saudis
because the ruling families do not fear the people and can afford to have a real working armed forces.

Morroco is a stable kingdom and is econmically linked to europe, Jordan is strategically indefensible and poor and depends on US aid primarily,
its like the gulf countries but without oil.
Algeria is a remnant of the 1960's and 1970's all the arab countries where like algeria but have since been swallowed by the west.
Algeria is ruled by the intelligence agancies and maintain a usefull facade of a democracy with a fake parliament, and fake prime minister.
They even rule the armed forces or have merged with them, but the generals are not in charge.

Iraq is a failed state pretending not to be, a somalia but with oil and the western media try to maintain the lie, but not successfully.
Syria was the last bastion of arab nationalism but is dead now, its another somalia, assad will not lose but the rebels will nto lose either but will fight each other soon after the west gives up and cuts the support.

Outside of the gulf, and Jordan the US is not very popular, even in egypt and morroco.

its such a waste, on paper if you look at the number of troops nearly 200,000 and the amount of advanced weapons systems the Saudis should be number on par with Iran in the regions strongest millitaries at 4rth place, with isreal, Turkey and Egypt on top.

The reality is that all those fancy planes and tanks are in storage, nobody does any training on them, they are maintained by Pakistanis on secondment, and sensitive equipment is handled by western contractors.

Hypothetically, the Saudis would be hard pressed to fight Oman's 20,000 army, and would definatley lose against the UAE's 40,000+ army.
and Jordan hypthetically if it was allowed to do so, would be able to invade and capture the entire country within a month.

You understand now why the US/Saudi alliance is so important to the Saudis from 1945.

they are called national gaurd and their job is to protect the royal family,
they are the only unit that can fight in saudia, and are recruited from tribes loyal to the alsaud.
However they are not trained to fight a modern war, its not their job.
