President Hassan's scheduled visit to Jowhar canceled

The reason to cancel the president's visit was immediately unclear but move came hours after bomb explosions and gun battle hit Jowhar town on Saturday night.  

Al Shabab rebel group also claimed the responsibility of two terror attacks in Mogadishu on Saturday, the country's capital killing more than 22 people.

Security beefed up in Beledweyne as President Hassan is expected to jet in

According to locals, AMISOM troops from Djibouti allied with government troops and Ethiopian military are spotted at the main roads in the town.

Business operations and movements halted in the town as the presidents arrival is expected anytime.

The intention of the president’s visit is not yet known.

There is no armies in balaweyne except dijbouti and the local forces...ex president sharif has visited it even without foreing troops being there!

This army was keeping the pms security in galgaduud a long side with djibouti.
