Locked Threads

Sick of this shit. Unlock the damn threads. Why are all the threads made before an obscure date locked without reason? Or was it by request, given how it coincides with the sudden simultaneous departure of a user? No one cares.

Lil, the point of a locked thread is to end the discussion given unruly behaviour or extreme topics. If it isn't the content of the thread that is under scrutiny, then the thread has no reason to be locked.

Why copy/paste, when you could easily quote? And you said yourself there are plenty threads you would've liked to comment on.

Waryaa did it after people kept bringing back old topics many months ago, I think if it is older than 60 or 90 days it automatically locks it.

I think the reasoning is that mods don't want ppl to flood the forum with old threads. If the thread is locked, all the features are disabled, such as quote, hence why you gotta c/p.

False. They are all locked at the certain date. None after.

Alpha what date are they locked on? I remember waryaa starting this and I remember he first made them lock after a certain period like 60 days but it must of been modified or I am just lost.
