MrPrestige bro i think the people need a second port laakin i think people are mentally tired and this projecy will probably never get of the ground for years if not decade. The problem is too many other projects, berbera to ceerigaabo road, burco to hargeisa, hargeisa to hawd, etc etc, fishing project, oil projects. I think the shacab need to prioritise. If the people put all their energy into one project at a time it can be completed within 2 years

HooBariiska It is called multi tasking, the Pontus Marine fishery company has already been established all over Somaliland, the shares will close in October. This
company and the Maydh port are interlinked.

CEO of Pontus Marine and fundraisers. How long it will take depends on the right workers and enough funds for the project.

Excellent. We're badly in need of another port. All we need to do now is to fix Zeila and Las Surad and we have 4 viable port options.

Hoobariska, we can multitask. Besides it's not lie the government unds these projects. Most of the infrastructure is done by private individuals, communities or groups.

people si qalad ah hay fahmina i am all for a port, laakin this is gotta be a awesome port, due to its location, we dont want a crabby port we want port that massive ships can dock, like berbera, it will cost millions, thats why i say we neeed to prioritise. Whats more important this port or roads. Maybe we can halt one and finish another. Somalis are not creative enuff to multitask sxb

HooBariiska Don't put the cart before the horse. Revenues from the port > enough to build many roads.

All of this would have been easily avoided , and the money would have been used on other useful things considering that we already have a port .
But seeing how horribly Berbera port is runned I dont Blame HY for building one , our people wont be needing Bosaso port for their services .

I hope that the initial revenues generated is used to build Burco-Ceerigaabo .

I strongly advocate the eastern regions have their own administration. The place is underdeveloped and neglected by the so called government. All they seem to care about is Hargeisa and berbera. Dwarf madhedh looks like s fcking refugee camp.
