Ethiopians saved your country, and instead of welcoming them, you show ingratitude.

Afar and saho are just one tribe : two dialects of one language

Just like somalis the afar are divided but by class: dark skinned vs light skinned

Dark skinned afar and light skinned al danaakil

Dark skinned look down to the light skinned because they do the low class jobs.

Beja are related to them though they split in the ancient times and have different languages.

What is wrong with my info? Tell me then

Afar culture is the worest cushitic culture and for this reason afar state is impossible
I have watched a l jajazeeraDOC, france24...

Afar are divided by class. Le peuple blanc et le peuple rouge

Assaymara the darker and adayamara(sounds cadaan) the whites

The whites are al danaakil from north of tadjoura to eretria

Assayamara live in the rest of djbouti and ethiopia

70 percent of afar live in ethiopia/ half million...150,000 in djbouti not sure eretria
"Traditionally, the Afar were divided into two classes, the Asaimara ("the red ones") or nobles, and the Adoimara ("the white ones") or commoners. Sometimes Asaimara and Adoimara clans existed as separate territorial groups, but for the most part tribal groups contained a mixture of both, and the Asaimara/Adoimara distinction cut across the whole of Afar society. Adoimara groups living among Asaimara formerly paid tribute, but there were also independent Adoimara tribes and Adoimara tribes that later obtained independent status. In the mixed Asaimara/Adoimara groups, the chiefs and heads of kin groups in whom territorial rights were vested were Asaimara, whereas the client Adoimara had their own herds of livestock with grazing rights on their patrons' land"

The Reds are the old Afar nobility from the Sultanate of Adal, it's "Awsa Imara" men of Awsa. The Mudaito overthrew the Imamate of Awsa and established their own Sultanate there in the 17th century. The Whites are the Ado Imara, derived from the Somali word Adoon, or Slave. The Afars were once quite prolific raiders and the Ado Imara are quite likely the descendants of various snatched highland peoples.

Both of those words are Somali origin from Adal, today people prefer "Reds" and "Whites" I guess.

If that's not beating you over the head enough, the "Reds" also refer to themselves as Adal.

Thanks ustaad jamac for shadding light on their historical backgrounds

Yeah the assaymara seems to have a feudal system maybe because of being princes, its them who claim the somali zaylac and awdal history saying that the amhara still call them adali(ethiopian afar)

Adoimira are the al danaakil of the arab geographers, one of the three horn african clans that were mentioned by them back in the 13th century, the other two are bilawi/bejawi and the hawiye of somalia

However, linguistically, I don't think the word ado is derived from the somali word adoon(slave) it just means literally white/cadaan

The afar and somalis have have the same pronounciation except that afars use the letter Q instead of the somali C while the oromo haven't any of them because of being an omotic cajam so they would pronouce it as Ali not cali

Example: cafar/qafar like qafar af/af cafar, qafar feera/farta cafar/afar alphabet

Now let us back to the word ado/qado=white...the suffix mara in assaymara and adoimara just means the ones the white ones and the tan-skinned ones

Qado qari/ guri cad...

I suppose so, but Danakil aren't Adoimara, Danakil is from Dankali, one of the clans of the Asaimara.

You are right that q in Qafar = c in af-Somali = ع in Arabic, but this is an important point because 'white' if Afar is 'Qado' like Somali 'Cad'.

Macalinka I don't know if you have another abtirsi forum that includes other non somali clans but I know that you have done research on the amirs and sultans of the horn muslim states generally so excuse this ardey who had different mucalimiin.

I have got three points to show the proof that adomara/adohian are the true denakil

1- amhara call their surrounding afars adal(these are part of casemara)

2- banu amir and beja known together as al hadarama call their afar surroundings denakil(these are cadomara)

3-the geographer ibnu sa'ad from 13th centery(the same guy who reported the hawiye of somalia) says: beja are found in suakin port(sudan) and its environments next to them are found the denakil who extend as south as mandeb

This is the cadoimaras heartland not the afars of the interior or south of mendeb!

This link shows that the northern afar are called denakil while the southren afar are known as adal

"The Afar are an ethnic group in the Horn of Africa who reside principally in the Danakil Desert in the Afar Region of Ethiopia, as well as in Eritrea and Djibouti. The Afar are sometimes called Danakil, a name used specifically to refer to northern Afars, while southern Afars can be called Adel (also transliterated as Adal), similar to the former Adal Sultanate"
