xamar will stay the same under hassan sheekh

Post by sahal80 »

Xamar has security problem that can't be solved in the near future for two reasons: the corruption in the military and the intelligence institutions
the army desperately lacks assurance, has no enough bullets, one soldier says what should he do with two bullets, should he use them for his duty or for his own protection!!

This because even after they raised their wages to $100 the focking bad general comes to them saying: hey now you had money go and sort out your own bullets!!

These corrupt generals arrest a lot of innocent people after each al shabaab attack only to release them after they paid them $100 per each!!

That is the army

The second reason is the population structure has changed in xamar, south westreners are close to become a majority, each district has atleast between 15,000 to 20,000 IDPs besides the cheap workers in the market and the shops, in banaadir administration... These south westren waves had a big insecurity consequences in xamar

Al shabaab will be defeated military-wise but will stay part of xamar community for lack of population balance and corruption

Regions that could change under hassan sheekh

Mudug and galgaduud will recover finally and will have an official effective institutions but will stay politically unstable

I guess hiiraan to come back fully by next year, this region was the last to fall under al shabaab in 2010 not 2008 it has some villages that still al shabaab has never landed in their history and other villages that has an armed locals that are resisting al shabaab with out being an SNA

In baladweyne the authorities have a security policy that imposes rules on the hotel owners to notify the authorities any new comer otherwise they will get arrested

I really like the new governor col laqanyo to stay because of his security policy, he was an ex officer of the old somali intelligence

Generally I believe-independent analysis nothing has to do as been the region I hail from- hiiraan to be the first in the south to get cured from al shabaab and become like the most of the greater central region

Lower shabeele will stay the same

I'm talking about the next face after the liberation wich is security and political stability

To confim these clues that nothing big change will happen under hassan sheekh, the man has stated himself lately that he can't do big changes as year has already gone but establish the foundations like rule of law, constitution, the sort of federalism, the basics of health and education...ila akhirihi aka etc

The latest corruption

"Prison Guards of the Mogadishu central prison arrested after a dangerous suspect vanished

27/09/2013

Mogadishu—(Mareeg)—close sources confirmed to local media  that prisons ward and other workers of the Mogadishu’s central prison have been arrested by government authorities after freeing a high ranking member of Alshabab who was serving a jail term.
The freed prisoner was serving a death penalty before escaping.
The sources close to the central prison confirm that the arrested official was a nurse at the prison whose name was only revealed as Tima Adde and another top official whose name is yet to be established.
The arrested officials are suspected of aiding the escape.
The tragic escape happened when men alleged to be members of Somalia’s national security agency took the accused Alshabab official who later on disappeared.

The current banaadi administration is based on the ex golahad deegaanka wich was established in 2006 perior to the courts and tfg but it wasn't a central administration though it had one governor and head of counties. Any new president was only nominating new guys.

We've only had a government for less than a year so we must be patient and work with our government to speed up the improvements.

Hassan Sheikh era is much more stable than any of the weak d administrations since Siad Barre AUN.
