Naw he really is 120 years old, he knows where he was born and what year.Other younger old men in the area also know
him from the past. He looks younger because of the SY genes, my father is in his 60s yet looks 40.

Most very old Somali folks don't have documentation. 120 years ago would have been 1893 in the wilderness of
British Somaliland. In the mountains of Sanaag (Daalo) , it is common to find a lot of very old men, apparently
folks who live there have higher life expectancy.

Why do they have a higher life expectancy?

Diet and environment. This does not apply to other parts of Sanaag though where life is more harsh.

my dad is in his late 80s and he looks much younger than that man, I would say this man is definitely a centenarian. mashallah he has aged gracefully.

I agree, but Allah has also given us a free will to do something well or bad for our bodies. Diet plays a part in your overall health. If
you drink alcohol a lot for example your liver will be damaged then your organs will fail if you continue drinking alcohol in large amounts
= Early death.
